StreetHealth: A Student-Led, Physician Managed Free Clinic

Cy-Fair Helping Hands in partnership with the Texas A&M School of Medicine launched StreetHealth, a monthly student-led clinic with physician oversight, dedicated to serving the uninsured and underinsured in our communityOur mission is to bridge the gap between Harris County’s uninsured populations and quality healthcare by providing a welcoming, accessible environment for non-emergent medical needs.

Clinic Schedule & Location

The clinic operates once a month to provide consistent care to those who need it most.

  • When: The first Saturday of every month
  • Hours: 10:00 AM – 1:30 PM
  • Where: Cy-Fair Helping Hands, 9204 Emmott Road, Houston, TX 77040.

Services Provided

The clinic functions similarly to an urgent care facility, offering non-emergent acute care overseen by licensed physicians. We do not file insurance.

What We Treat:

• Acute Illness: Coughs, colds, flu, allergies, fever, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea,

• Minor Injuries: Wounds, minor cuts (including those requiring stitches), minor burns, sprains, and strains.

• General Health: Ear infections, nosebleeds, headaches, and general health maintenance concerns.

• Support Services: Health education, discussion of ongoing concerns, and access to over-the-counter (OTC) items.

Please Note: Referrals will be made for additional acute care needs as required.
